Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ShortEdge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

ShortEdge is a content generation platform that produces scripts, AI-generated images, voiceovers, captions, and draft videos for YouTube Shorts creators. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • One person or entity per account. Shared accounts are not permitted.

4. Content ownership

You own the scripts, metadata, and creative direction you provide as input. The AI-generated outputs (scripts, images, voiceovers, videos) are licensed to you for personal and commercial use, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers (Anthropic, Google, ElevenLabs).

You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing. ShortEdge does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, original, or free of third-party intellectual property claims.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate illegal, harmful, or misleading content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
  • Share or resell API access or bulk-generated content as a competing service
  • Exceed rate limits or circumvent usage restrictions

6. Billing and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

7. Limitation of liability

ShortEdge is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or content takedowns.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
